Responsibilities

• Responsible for shipping goods and related functions.
• Assist intake, prep, and packing of outgoing items to meet daily FedEx, UPS & USPS deadlines.
• Assemble, prepare, fill, and package boxes for shipment.
• Product inspection (outbound).
• Print shipping labels and attach them to boxes.
• Update inventory in the database and report low stock promptly.
• Manage and maintain Excel spreadsheets.
• Maintain clean and safe work area; update supplies as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Shipping Associate

SUMMARY:Responsible for all tasks related to accurately packing and shipping items in a fast-paced environment. This position works in partnership with eCommerce Fulfillment and reports to Logistics & Operations management

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assume overall responsibility for Shipping goods and functions
• Assist in the intake, prep, and packing of all outgoing items to meet the daily FedEx, UPS & USPS pick-up and drop-off deadline
• Assemble, prepare, fill, and package boxes and other cartons with items that need to be shipped
• Product Inspection (outbound)
• Print shipping product labels and secure them to boxes
• Update Inventory in the database and promptly report low inventory items
• Manage and maintain Excel spreadsheet
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed
• Maintain and organize supplies
• Assess packaging needs adequately for delicate items
• Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of shipping experience in a packaging warehouse environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications and basic knowledge of computer skills
• Must be highly detail-oriented and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
