Job summary

Avivatech LLC in Rancho Cucamonga, CA is seeking a Shipping Associate to support shipment preparation. You will pull products from inventory, assemble orders, and ensure items are correct, undamaged, and properly packed for transit.

You will also handle inventory counts, report discrepancies, and operate Netsuite to process work orders, with forklift and pallet jack duties as needed. This full-time role requires basic Excel, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a warehouse

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic computer knowledge helpful, including FedEx and UPS Ship Managers.
• Microsoft Excel and NetSuite ERP familiarity preferred.
• Pallet jack and forklift skills are required; forklift certified.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring correct part number and quantity.
• Ensure completeness and correctness of orders filled.
• Pack orders to protect during shipment and weigh final packages.
• Tag, mark or label orders as required.
• Ensure shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Load correct products with carriers and freight forwarders, and conduct physical inventories as needed.
• Follow good warehouse practices and maintain a safe working environment.
• Scan units into Excel, complete work orders in NetSuite, stamp and date units.
• Palletize units, scan serial numbers, produce QR sheets, and wrap pallets.

Shipping Associate

Full Time Manual Labor Recruit DCC CA, Rancho Cucamonga, CA, US

Salary Range: $18.00 To $20.00 Hourly

Summary of Position:

The Shipping Associate has a crucial role during shipment preparation. The most important duties of a Shipping Associate are pulling product from inventory and preparing orders for shipment, making sure products are correct, in good condition and packed sufficiently to avoid damage in shipping. Additional duties include maintaining inventories, counting quantities, and reporting discrepancies to management. The ideal candidate demonstrates attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and teamwork. The role also covers duties at our Trademark facility in the absence of the Shipping Clerk. The Shipping Associate will process work orders in Netsuite and palletize units in preparation to move completed FGI to the San Marino facility.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment ensuring that the correct part number and quantity is pulled, packed and shipped
• Responsible for the completeness and correctness of orders filled
• Pack orders in best manner to protect during shipment and weigh final packages for shipment
• Tag, mark or label orders as required or requested
• Ensure shipments are accurate and free of damage
• Ensure that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped with carriers and freight forwarders
• Conduct physical inventories as required
• Follows good warehouse practices and required work safe practices.
• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.
• Scanning units into Excel spreadsheets, completing work orders into NetSuite, stamping and dating units
• Palletizing units onto pallet, scanning serial numbers and producing QR sheet, wrapping pallet with QR sheet
• Additional duties may include helping Production with assembly, help Packing with packaging and cleanup of area

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Computer knowledge is helpful, especially FedEx and UPS Ship Managers
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Netsuite ERP system preferred
• Pallet jack and forklift skills required. Must be forklift certified

Personal Skills and Competencies:

• Must be able to read and write legibly, count accurately, do simple math.
• The ability to follow directions is extremely important

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be capable of sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time
