Job summary

Ecommodities is seeking a production- or warehouse-oriented candidate to join our shipping department in Pontiac, IL. The role involves palletizing equipment, packing shipping boxes, recording measurements, completing paperwork, and performing data entry tasks.

Ideal applicants will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least two years of related experience with basic math skills. Ability to operate a pallet jack and work well both independently and in a team is required.

Basic Function

This position performs various functions in our shipping department, including but not limited to: palletizing equipment; building and packing boxes for items to be shipped; recording measurements; completing associated paperwork; and entering data into the system.

Education and Experience

• Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)

• Ability to operate pallet jack
• Ability to work independent and in a team environment
• Basic Computer/Electronic knowledge a plus
• Ability to measure and record product

Other Requirements

• Able to lift up to a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, balance and reach
