Job summary

CMI Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Shipping Team Member for an aerospace and defense manufacturing environment. The role is on-site, full-time, day shift (6am - 3:30pm) and focuses on shipping support, inventory accuracy, and coordination with Quality and Production.

Responsibilities include processing carrier shipments, maintaining cycle counts, updating WIP movements, and informing customers with shipment details. ITAR compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, lift, reach, grasp, bend, stoop, squat and/or walk the majority of the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds unassisted.
• Excellent attendance.
• Attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to follow instructions & willingness to learn.
• Due to ITAR requirements, must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Location:3617 E La Salle St, Phoenix, AZ 85040 (40th and Southern)

Shift: Full time, day shift (6am - 3:30pm)

Responsibilities:

• Assists OSP with shipping when carrier services are involved
• Maintains finished goods inventory- weekly cycle counting
• Coordinates/communicates with Quality and Production departments on daily needs
• Assists with WIP movement updates
• Communicates updates to customers as required (end of day ship list and tracking detail)

• Verifies and adheres to customer delivery requirements

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 30+ pounds on a regular basis
• Requires standing, bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, reaching, sitting, fine hand/finger manipulation up to 8 hours per day
