Job summary

CMI Group seeks a First Article Inspector for the Night Shift at our South Phoenix facility. You will perform first article/first piece inspections on aerospace components, using Hexagon CMMs and precision gauging, ensuring GD&T compliance and traceability.

Candidates must have 5+ years aerospace experience, strong CMM experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment; U.S. work status is required; 40+ hours weekly likely.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years Aerospace experience with First Article/First Piece Inspection
• Strong Hexagon CMM experience required
• Experience with dial bore gauges, Mueller gauges, indicator mics, Sunnen gages etc.
• Must be very knowledgeable of GD&T
• Experience in fast Paced Environment
• Self-starter and team oriented

20% Night Shift Differential Pay

Location: South Phoenix - 3617 E La Salle St, Phoenix, AZ 85040

Shift: Night Shift

Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years Aerospace experience with First Article/First Piece Inspection


• Strong Hexagon operational CMM experience required


• Experience with dial bore gages, Mueller gages, indicator mics, Sunnen gages etc.


• Must be very knowledgeable of GD&T


• Experience in fast Paced Environment


• Self-starter and team oriented

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and sit or stand up to 8 hours per day
