Job summary

Clair Global in Houston, TX is seeking a warehouse associate to manage receiving, shipping, and inventory control on site. You will unload delivery trucks, verify goods against invoices, and prepare items for shipment with proper documentation.

Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs, forklift operation, and accuracy are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills are essential to maintain precise records and quality control across inbound and outbound goods.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receiving: unload trucks, verify goods against invoices, note shortages or damage, and store items.
• Shipping: pick, pack and prepare products for shipment; create shipping documents (bills of lading).
• Inventory management: keep accurate counts, update records, perform physical counts.
• Quality control: inspect incoming/outgoing goods for damage or discrepancies; handle issues.

Job description

• Receiving: Unloading delivery trucks, verifying incoming goods against invoices, noting shortages or damage, and properly storing items.
• Shipping: Picking, packing, and preparing products for shipment , and creating necessary shipping documents like bills of lading.
• Inventory management: Maintaining accurate inventory counts, updating records, and performing regular physical inventory checks.
• Quality control: Inspecting incoming and outgoing products for damage or discrepancies and handling any quality issues that arise.
• Equipment operation: Good driving record in order to drive company vehicles. Using equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move and store goods. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 LB box.
• Record keeping: Using manual or computerized systems to document all shipping and receiving activities. Including Microsoft Office programs.
