Job summary

Aptura Group in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Warehouse Associate to verify incoming and outgoing shipments, prepare items for shipment within scheduled timelines, and pick and pack. Will drive as needed.

Responsibilities include receiving and off-loading materials, counting against purchase orders, sorting stock, checking for damage, staging material for installation or delivery, assisting customers with pickups, and maintaining inventory using company software; forklift operation included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items throughout the day.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Experience driving a box truck is a plus.

Job Summary

— The Warehouse Associate verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment within scheduled timelines. Picks and packs. Drives as needed.

• Receiving and Off-loading materials.
• Verifying counts to purchase orders.
• Sorting stock materials from job materials.
• Checking shipments for damage, noting appropriate paperwork.
• Ensure all material is placed in its appropriate areas.
• Staging of material for installation, shipment, or customer pick up.
• Assist internal and external customers with pickup and loading.
• Utilizing company specific software, to maintain accurate inventory.
• Utilize hand tools, mechanical equipment, and motorized equipment in safe and effective manner.
• Make deliveries as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Assist with special projects and deliveries as assigned.
