Pro Resources Inc. in Indiana is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support shipping, receiving, and inventory control in a fast-paced environment.
You will prepare and package orders, label shipments, and coordinate with carriers to ensure timely delivery. You will also inspect incoming goods, maintain accurate records, operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely, and work with sales and production to keep operations running smoothly.
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, $18 per hour
Prepare and package products for shipment according to company specifications and customer orders.
Label packages and ensure accurate shipping documentation such as bills of lading and invoices.
Coordinate with carriers for pick-up and delivery schedules.
Verify shipping instructions and addresses to avoid errors or delays.
Maintain inventory of packing materials and reorder when necessary.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements for shipping such as hazardous materials and international shipments.
Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damages, and verify quantities against purchase orders.
Unload goods from delivery trucks and check for accuracy.
Record all incoming shipments in the inventory management system.
Update inventory records and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
Organize and store received products in designated areas, ensuring proper stock rotation and accessibility.
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and perform periodic physical counts.
Assist in the investigation of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions as needed.
Ensure that products are properly tagged and labeled for easy identification.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the warehouse and shipping and receiving areas.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment, adhering to safety guidelines.
Communicate effectively with other departments, such as sales and production, to ensure seamless operations.
Ability to drive a box truck.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
Ensure that all shipments are processed in a timely manner to meet company deadlines and customer expectations.
Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
Basic understanding of inventory management and shipping software and systems.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate warehouse equipment safely, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in warehouse settings.
Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed.
Valid drivers license with a good driving record.
Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds as required.
Ability to stand, bend, and walk for long periods.
