Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage outbound shipments, verify inventory, and generate essential shipping documents. You will coordinate carrier pickups, work with production and procurement teams, and ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, ITAR, and ISO standards.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in warehouse or logistics roles, exposure to ERP/WMS systems, and relevant certifications such as CTL.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or shipping/receiving environment (3+ years).
• Experience using ERP and WMS systems in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiar with domestic and international shipping regulations and practices.
• Certified in Transportation and Logistics (CTL) preferred.
• OSHA Forklift Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily outbound shipments of finished goods and materials.
• Generate shipping documents including bills of lading, packing slips, shipping labels, and customs paperwork.
• Schedule and coordinate pickups with freight carriers (LTL, FTL, air, sea).
• Unload and verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through ERP or inventory management systems.
• Communicate with carriers to schedule pickups, track shipments, and resolve transit delays.
• Ensure shipments meet internal, customer, and regulatory requirements (DOT, OSHA, ITAR, ISO).
• Liaise with production, procurement, planning, customer service, and quality teams.
• Assist in prioritizing orders based on production and customer schedules.

• Ensure the efficient movement of goods in and out of the facility
• Verify shipments, manage inventory documentation, coordinate logistics with carriers, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory shipping standards
• Coordinate daily outbound shipments of finished goods and materials

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
