Job summary

Aerotek in South Plainfield, NJ is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for a contract-to-hire role in a busy warehouse. You will process orders, manage shipping and receiving, and operate reach trucks and forklifts. The position is fully onsite in South Plainfield.

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated warehouse clerks for our South Plainfield site. The ideal candidates are comfortable working in narrow aisles, at heights, and are proficient with RF scanners.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently process orders and manage shipping and receiving tasks.
• Operate reach trucks and forklifts safely within the warehouse.
• Consistently lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Perform general labor and maintain warehouse organization.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in order processing and shipping and receiving tasks.
• Experience operating reach trucks and forklifts.
• Ability to consistently lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Basic computer skills, including experience with FedEx database and SAP.
• Punctuality and adherence to a strict attendance policy.

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $23.25/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
