Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Truck Loader/Unloader in Sutherland, VA. This contract-to-hire role involves loading and unloading 18-wheel trailers, using scanners and WMS to track shipments, and maintaining safety and accuracy in a high-volume distribution center.

The position requires physical capability to lift up to 60 lbs and a dependable work ethic. Onsite work with opportunities for advancement and further training are provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Load and unload 18-wheel trailers using movable conveyor systems.

What We're Looking For

• Warehouse, loading/unloading, material handling, or general labor experience preferred.
• Experience with picking, packing, order pulling, shipping, or receiving is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment and inside trailers.
• Basic computer and scanner experience.
• Strong attendance record and dependable work ethic.
• Ability to thrive in a production-driven environment with measurable performance goals.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sutherland, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.60 - $27.30/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
