Job summary

Lithia & Driveway is hiring a Shipping/Receiving Clerk for our on-site dealership. You will establish relationships with wholesale and retail customers, assist customers promptly, and maintain parts inventory with meticulous organization.

No prior experience is required as training is provided. A valid driver's license is required, and you will contribute to keeping the parts department clean and efficient while supporting technicians and counter staff.

• Valid driver's license in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain good relationships with Wholesale and retail customers.
• Assist all customers promptly and professionally.
• Maintain parts inventory and organize bins; record locations.
• Deliver parts to technicians or counters; pull orders as needed.
• Keep the parts department clean and organized; dispose of trash daily.
• Answer phones and greet customers professionally.
• Complete training requirements for certification.

Communication must be clear and concise.Maintain parts inventory, including stocking shelves, organizing bins, binning new parts and recording the location, conducting perpetual bin audits, and maintain special order bins.Maintain a delivery board with departure times and destinationsMaintain a detailed delivery log when handling returns and fundsHelp with Physical Parts Inventory annuallyDeliver parts to technicians or part recipient; pull orders for counter persons when necessaryMaintain clean and organized work area; all materials stored below the counter areaImmediately notify parts manager of damaged parts or shortagesAnswer telephone and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner in accordance with Incoming Telephone Call (ITC) standardsComplete all applicable Lithia and manufacturer training required for certificationSweep floors and empty trash containers daily, and maintain a clean parts departmentMaintain clean delivery vehicle.
