Suburban CDJR of Troy is seeking a Parts Advisor to thrive in a fast-paced dealership setting in Troy, MI. You will establish relationships with wholesale and retail customers, manage parts inventory, and support service operations.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain good relationships with Wholesale and retail customers.
• Assist all customers promptly and professionally including retail and service.
• Maintain parts inventory, stocking shelves, organizing bins, bin audits, and special order bins.
• Maintain a delivery board with departure times and destinations.
• Deliver parts to technicians or pull orders for counter persons as needed.
• Keep the parts area clean and organized; store materials properly.
• Notify parts manager of damaged parts or shortages.
• Answer calls and greet customers professionally.
• Complete required Lithia and manufacturer training for certification.

Communication must be clear and concise.Maintain parts inventory, including stocking shelves, organizing bins, binning new parts and recording the location, conducting perpetual bin audits, and maintain special order bins.Maintain a delivery board with departure times and destinationsMaintain a detailed delivery log when handling returns and fundsAssist in Physical Parts Inventory annuallyDeliver parts to technicians or part recipient; pull orders for counter persons when necessaryMaintain clean and organized work area; all materials stored below the counter areaImmediately notify parts manager of damaged parts or shortagesAnswer telephone and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner in accordance with Incoming Telephone Call (ITC) standardsComplete all applicable Lithia and manufacturer training required for certificationSweep floors and empty trash containers daily, and maintain a clean parts departmentMaintain clean delivery vehicle.
