Job summary

Suburban Subaru in Troy, MI, is hiring Shipping/Receiving Clerks to keep parts flowing in a fast-paced dealership environment. You will verify shipments, stock inventory, and prepare orders for delivery while delivering friendly service to customers, vendors, and technicians.

We seek reliable, detail-oriented individuals who can work independently or with a team, follow safety protocols, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Receiving, stocking and distributing parts experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming parts shipments, verify quantities and inspect for damage.
• Stock, label, and organize inventory for efficient retrieval.
• Pick and prepare parts orders for delivery, shipment, and internal requests.
• Deliver parts to customers, vendors, and technicians with strong customer service.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, returns, credits and transfers.
• Help with inventory counts, cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
• Communicate shortages, discrepancies and damaged merchandise to management.
• Operate company vehicles safely.
• Keep shipping/receiving areas clean, organized and compliant with safety standards.
• Collaborate with Parts, Service and Sales to support daily operations.
