Job summary

Manpower SD Metro North in Vista, CA is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for a temp-to-hire role. The shift is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with a pay range of $18–$20 per hour.

The successful candidate will verify shipments, prepare materials for outgoing orders, assist with production material requests, and maintain accurate inventory records in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of related experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Excellent English communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with Epicor a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and process incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
• Ship products via UPS, FedEx, and truck freight
• Package, label, and verify materials for outgoing shipments
• Keep a clean, organized work area
• Work with customers on shipping updates and requirements
• Support QC inspections of finished goods
• Provide timely support to production with material requests
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory discrepancies
• Process RMAs and scrap nonconforming material
• Participate in training and assist with additional duties as needed

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• U.S. Person status required (due to export control)
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1–2 years of related experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Forklift certified (or willing to obtain certification)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong communication skills in English
• Comfortable with basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Epicor experience a plus
• Flexibility to work mandatory overtime or weekends as needed
