Staffmark Group is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate in Carson City, NV operating Monday through Thursday with shifts from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The role focuses on receiving shipments, preparing outbound orders, and maintaining an organized warehouse to ensure products move smoothly.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, with QA/QC training or ASQ CQI as a plus. You should have 1 year of quality inspection experience and 2 years manufacturing experience, plus familiarity

Responsibilities

• Create inspection reports, certificates, and quality records and enter data into the ERP system.
• Review paperwork for accuracy and ensure documents are complete before shipment.
• Identify and report damaged or non-conforming parts and help track quality issues.
• Collaborate with team members and customers, follow safety rules, keep the area clean and organized.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.


• Quality Inspector certification (ASQ CQI) is a plus.


• Training in manufacturing, quality control, or inspection is helpful.


• Ability to read drawings, work instructions, and basic reports.

Experience Requirements

• At least 1 year of quality inspection experience preferred.


• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience required.


• Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and inspection equipment.


• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ERP/MRP systems.


• Knowledge of GD&T, First Article Inspection (FAI), Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma is a plus.


• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and communication skills.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the workday.


• Frequent use of hands to inspect, measure, and handle parts.


• Ability to look closely at small details and measurements.


• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and follow safety procedures.


• Ability to complete tasks with little supervision.

Job Duties
