Job summary

ALS is seeking a detail-oriented warehouse and receiving specialist in Twin Falls, Idaho. The role focuses on receiving shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring safe handling of goods.

You will manage inventory, document shipments for customs, and support local delivery and branch operations. Ideal candidates have a college degree or related experience, strong organizational skills, and knowledge of safety regulations.

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, International Trade and Transportation or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean driving history.
• Forklift license and on-site certification will be required.
• Minimum two years supervisory experience in a preparation/warehouse role.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety including OH&S legislation.
• Understanding of International Customs compliance and NAFTA shipping regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare packaging for outgoing shipments while ensuring proper protection of goods.
• Ensure receiving records are complete and accurate; prepare documentation for Customs.
• Maintain receiving records for supplies and ensure paperwork is forwarded to the accounting department.
• Accurate data entry and maintenance of soil permit records as applicable.
• Deliver incoming shipments to the proper departments and manage inventory counts.
• Handle dangerous goods properly and apply FCC and Radiation forms.
• Local delivery and pickups as needed; support V-Branch operations.
• Back up to Shipper/Receiver Lead Hand and follow established procedures.
