Job summary

Randstad USA is partnering with a food manufacturing firm to hire an accounting clerk who can also support shipping and receiving. The role involves handling shipping docs, inventory systems, drivers, and warehouse staff on a split 1st/2nd shift (7 am–3 pm and 4 pm–12 am).

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, 0–3 years in shipping/logistics, and proficiency with Excel/Outlook. No degree is required for this position, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.
• Experience in food manufacturing, cold storage, or fresh food distribution is a plus.
• Knowledge of Bills of Lading (BOLs), shipping documents, and inventory processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare shipping documentation (BOLs, packing slips, receiving paperwork).
• Verify incoming/outgoing shipments for accuracy and quantity.
• Coordinate daily shipments with warehouse staff and customer service.
• Maintain accurate shipping/receiving records in company systems.
• Work with accounting to ensure invoicing and shipment reconciliation.
