Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a Shipping, Preprice, & Chiller Manager to lead the third processing functions in a poultry processing facility. You will guide long- and short-term strategies, manage safety and regulatory compliance, and optimize plans to meet customer requirements and company goals.

Competenze

• Minimum three (3) years management experience supervising multiple functions; poultry processing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated minimum two (2) years leadership experience including knowledge of timekeeping requirements, policy adherence, successful conflict resolution.
• Experience in executing short and long term plans with the ability to implement and follow up ensuring successful adoption/completion.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate all aspects of plant operations to maximize efficiencies of operations, margin, and profits.
• Demonstrated ability in project monitoring, follow-up and closure.

Mansioni

• Oversee 3rd processing shipping, preprice and chiller operations, reviewing resource allocation to meet production and quality standards.
• Understand Company financial objectives to support long and short-term plant financial strategies.
• Oversee department planning systems and production scheduling to achieve output schedules for sales requirements.
• Review reports, identify trends or deviations, adjust to meet requirements and communicate variances to leaders.
• Monitor P&L/budget and assist with annual operating budget (AOP), reporting variances to leaders.
• Identify opportunities for improvement; develop and implement operating methods to eliminate problems and improve quality.
• Follow safety initiatives and wear PPE as required to maintain zero-accident culture.
• Mentor, coach and train employees; provide feedback for improvement.
• Perform additional relevant duties as assigned.
