Job summary

Barletta Boats in Bristol, IN is seeking a Production Team Member – Shipping to load pontoon boats, secure loads, and operate hoists safely. You will perform daily safety checks, assist with maintenance, and follow supervisor instructions in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Overtime and weekend hours may be required during month-end pushes. The role emphasizes physical work, adherence to PPE, and a strong work ethic to support production goals and a Barletta Safe culture.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand, walk, push, pull, bend, kneel, climb, squat for 8+ hours.
• Lift upward of 40 lbs.
• Ability to work in heat, rain, and snow.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends/overtime.
• Adhere to PPE policies and procedures.

About the Role

The Production Team Member – Shipping is responsible for loading and strapping the pontoon boats to the trailers, also building the steel on the trailers for the load while following all safety policies and procedures. Individuals in this role must have a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced and team-focused environment, and be able to work in heat, rain, and snow. Shipping associates work longer hours at the end of the month so must be flexible in the last week of each month.

• Load and unload pontoon boats using a hoist system.
• Perform daily safety checks and basic preventative maintenance on the hoists.
• Ability to respond quickly to numerous requests in a fast-paced work environment.
• Assignments given by supervisor as required.
• Support a Barletta Safe culture by adhering to and advocating for the safest behaviors and proactively identifies opportunities to mitigate job-related risks and hazards

What Makes You a Great Fit

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
• Must have the ability to perform all physical requirements required of the position, including but not limited to: ability to stand, walk, push, pull, bend, kneel, climb, squat for 8+ hours and lift upward of 40 lbs.
• Ability to adapt to climate, inside and outside
• Must display good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to follow policies and procedures and wear required PPE
