Job summary

Eastern Propane Corp in Rochester, NH is seeking a full-time Shipper/Receiver to ensure accurate receiving of shipments, process paperwork, and support inventory management in collaboration with warehouse and purchasing teams.

You will handle documentation, data entry, and liaison with third-party shippers, using our applications to count cycles and respond to internal requests. Strong MS Office skills and two years shipping experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Two years’ experience in inventory and/or shipping preferred.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, tools and procedures within the shipping and receiving fields.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Receive, examine, process, stock, and distribute goods shipped to Eastern.
• Prepare and coordinate shipment of packages from Eastern.
• Prepare documentation and perform data entry.
• Manage relationships with third-party shipping vendors and act as a liaison for resolving concerns.
• Use Eastern’s application software systems accurately and successfully.
• Perform Cycle Counting functions within the software system.
• Provide internal customers with requested information by using application software or other appropriate means.
• Assist with reviewing and entering data modifications for multi-district reorder levels, ensuring alignment between system settings and field requests.

About this opportunity
