Job summary

Eastern in Rochester, NH is seeking a full-time Shipper/Receiver to accurately receive shipments and process related paperwork. The role supports maintaining inventory accuracy and collaborates with warehouse and purchasing teams to ensure efficient parts processing.

The position involves data entry, documentation, and coordinating with third-party shippers. Strong knowledge of shipping concepts and MS Office is required; high school diploma or equivalent is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years’ experience in inventory or shipping preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving concepts.

Responsibilities

• Receive, examine, process, stock, and distribute goods shipped to Eastern.
• Prepare and coordinate shipment of packages from Eastern.
• Prepare documentation and perform data entry.
• Manage relationships with third-party shipping vendors and act as a liaison for resolving concerns.
• Use Eastern’s application software systems accurately and successfully.
• Perform Cycle Counting functions within the software system.
• Provide internal customers with requested information by using application software or other appropriate means.
• Assist with reviewing and entering data modifications for multi-district reorder levels, ensuring alignment between system settings and field requests.

What you’ll bring to this role

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Two years’ experience in inventory and/or shipping preferred.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, tools and procedures within the shipping and receiving fields.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite.
