Qualifications

• Experience setting up, troubleshooting, and using weld machines.
• Experience reading blueprints and using the metric system.
• Experience with hand tools and overhead cranes for rigging.
• Able to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, and secure parts and assemblies per specifications.
• Cut work pieces using powered saws, torches, and plasma equipment.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Inspect welds and evaluate quality with gauges and measurements.
• Analyze drawings to plan layouts and welding methods.
• Install or repair decks, bulkheads, and tank linings.
