Responsibilities

• Fabricate, form, and fit metal structures for marine vessels.
• Lay out, cut, form, and assemble components.
• Tack and perform minor welding with MIG and arc processes.
• Work from engineering drawings in shop, jig, or on ship.
• Operate a variety of metal forming equipment (shears, saws, rolls, presses).
• Maintain safety and housekeeping and collaborate with crew.
