Job summary

Everett Ship Repair LLC in Everett, WA seeks an Experienced Pipe Welder Journeyman to fabricate pipe spools and assemblies for new construction, repair, and marine projects.

You will weld piping systems using stick welding as primary process, with MIG/TIG as needed, and read drawings while adhering to safety and quality standards. Work is performed in a team environment on various vessels.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret specifications, drawings, and blueprints.
• Knowledge of shipyard safety practices and vessel terminology.
• High School Education or equivalent.
• Able to understand basic mathematics.
• 5+ years of experience as a Pipe Welder.

Responsibilities

• Weld out piping spools, runs, and manifolds using stick welding (80%), MIG/TIG (20%).
• Weld pipe seams in horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions for various joints.
• Perform welds on carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and copper-nickel alloys.
• Set up arc welder for root passes, cover passes, and weld repairs.
• Grind and prep weld seams for finishing and inspection.
