Job summary

Everett Ship Repair LLC in Everett, WA is seeking an Experienced Pipe Welder Journeyman to fabricate pipe spools and systems for new construction, repair, and marine projects. You will weld piping in spool form for vessels using stick, MIG, or TIG processes on carbon steel, stainless, aluminum, and other alloys.

The role requires 5+ years of pipe welding experience, ability to read drawings, and knowledge of shipyard safety.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret specifications, drawings and blueprints.
• Shipyard safety practices and terminology knowledge.
• High School level or vocational education.
• 5+ years experience as a pipe welder.
• Ability to work overtime and in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Weld out piping spools, runs, and manifolds using stick/MIG/TIG as required.
• Weld seams in various positions and joint types per vessel specs.
• Set up welding equipment for root covers and repairs.
• Prepare welds with grinding and tacking for inspection.
• Maintain clean, safe working environment and teamwork.
