Job summary

Everett Ship Repair LLC in Everett, WA seeks an Experienced Pipefitter Journeyman to create pipe spools and piping assemblies for marine repair and projects. You will work from engineering drawings, fabricate and install piping systems, and perform basic welding in a team environment.

Required are 5+ years as a pipefitter, ability to read blueprints, and basic MIG/arc welding skills. The role is full-time, on-site, with safety-focused shipyard practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Pipefitter.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints.
• High School education or vocational training.
• Knowledge of HVAC piping and condensation (Drain).
• Basic MIG and arc welding skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screens (background, drug test, skills).
• Interest in future crew leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Form, fit, and fabricate piping systems in marine vessels from drawings.
• Work in fabrication shop or on modular jigs and final assembly.
• Layout, cut, prepare, and assemble spools and piping systems.
• Measure, cut, thread, or bend pipes with appropriate tools.
• Use pipe wrenches, cutting torches, and bending machines.
• Work from blueprints in standard and metric measurements.
• Perform basic tack and minor MIG/arc welds.
• Collaborate with team and maintain safety and housekeeping.
