Job summary

American Cruise Lines is seeking Shipboard Servers for the 2026 season to deliver exceptional dining experiences aboard our ships. You will work in our shipboard hotel and restaurant, serving guests and representing the brand with pride for up to 28 weeks.

Wages range from $1,000 to $1,400 per week, with additional bonuses. All major living expenses are covered aboard, including travel, room and board, uniforms, and training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old and a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
• Pre-employment drug test for shipboard employees; alcohol consumption is prohibited.
• Grooming standards include limitations on visible tattoos and piercings.
• Temporary employment position not to extend beyond 28 weeks of shipboard work.
• Successful individuals work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience.
• Set up and break down meals and services for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails.
• Cater to culinary requests and present menus and wine suggestions to guests.
• Relay orders to the galley and serve courses with presentation and garnish.
• Greet guests on embarkation, assist with afternoon teas and snacks, and support evening entertainment.
