This is a Part-Time On-Call Role with opportunity to transition to full-time based on performance. CACI is seeking a hard‑working mission minded individual who possesses expertise/experience with design and installation of shipboard network‑based CCTV systems. The selected candidate will be expected to work in a shipboard environment and collaborate with OEMs, marine engineers, and industrial assistance. Although your primary role will be to oversee installation and commissioning of network‑based CCTV security systems, you will also be expected to provide measurable input into design elements of future systems.
The Field Technician/Engineer will bring familiarity and experience with network‑based CCTV systems and ABS and USCG regulations to successfully oversee implementation of deployment, installation, and testing of servers, switches, monitors, UPS systems, and PC hardware in a shipboard environment.
The Field Technician/Engineer must have the ability to complete complex assignments without direction, and direct individuals and engineers that are junior level. The employee will ensure that systems are implemented in a tight time frame. Additional Field Engineer duties shall include but are not limited to the following:
