Job summary

Qualifications

• High School education or trade school equivalent; 6 years related experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain base access.
• Provide own hand tools as designated per trades specialty.
• Ability to manage, oversee, schedule and assign tasks to multiple jobs.
• Experience with ventilation exhaust/supply/recirculation systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical authority on shipboard mechanical and HVAC/ventilation systems for naval platforms.
• Provide technical design, modification, and operational assessment support.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Install, upgrade and remove products coordinating engineering field changes.
• Maintain effective customer communications and may train customer support personnel.
