Job summary

Qualifications

• High School education or Trade School with 4 years related experience.
• Experience troubleshooting, evaluating, diagnosing, and repairing ships' HVAC electrical systems including fans, motors, control circuits, electric heaters, and thermostatic controls.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance.
• Must provide own hand tools as designated per trades specialty.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a CAC badge.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain base access.
• Candidate must be able to travel domestically and internationally, up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repairing ships' HVAC mechanical and electrical systems/equipment.
• Applies comprehensive understanding of production and processes toward completion of assignments.
• Interface with customers, manage subcontractors and provide work direction to others.
• Develop and use technical documents including controlled work packages and test documents.
• Schedule, report and brief customers and senior management; perform duties outside specialty to complete installation or work assignment.
