Job summary

Continental Tide Defense Systems, Inc. seeks an experienced Technical Trainer to support HM&E contract work, focusing on air conditioning and refrigeration systems at NSWCPD’s facility.

You will prepare and instruct students on operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, interfacing with SMEs to develop material. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or 3 years military curriculum development experience, with ability to travel and obtain/maintain SECRET clearance.

Qualifications

• REAL ID or U.S. Passport required.
• Bachelor’s degree in training or three years of military curriculum development experience.
• Minimum of three years planning and managing training development for large programs, creating technical courses and materials.
• Knowledge of AC&R theory, pipefitting, electrical/mechanical layouts, VSDs, and HVAC controls aboard Navy/Coast Guard vessels.

Responsibilities

• Support operation, maintenance, and testing of naval A/C & refrigeration systems and components.
• Develop training objectives, plans, and materials; collaborate with SMEs.
• Design, revise, and deliver instructor-led courses; prepare instructional materials from technical data.
