Job summary

Disney Cruise Line is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to lead on-board housekeeping operations, guiding a diverse crew to maintain shipboard guest areas to the highest standards. You will report to the Housekeeping Manager and oversee stateroom cleanliness, public areas, inspections, and USPH compliance while developing your team and ensuring guest satisfaction at sea.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years housekeeping leadership on ships or 200+ room 5 Star hotel within the last 4 years.
• Proven experience leading a diverse team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and make decisions.
• Strong partnering, collaboration and relationship skills with various department leaders.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Programs and PC-based databases.
• Knowledge of maintenance reporting cloud-based systems and hotel integration.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assigned area including Guest Staterooms, crew accommodations, night operations, public areas and deck.
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and ship maintenance.
• Conduct daily area inspections and ensure compliance with USPH standards.
• Schedule the housekeeping team and assign tasks.
• Address guest issues promptly and professionally.
• Lead daily pre-shift and break-out meetings.
• Provide leadership and development to the team.
