Job summary

Crew Life at Sea Ltd. seeks a housekeeping supervisor to assist the Executive Housekeeper aboard our cruise ship. You will supervise room attendants, laundry staff, and public area cleaners, ensuring top-notch cleanliness and guest satisfaction across cabins and public spaces.

Lead training, manage scheduling, monitor budgets, and uphold safety standards while coordinating with other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years in a housekeeping supervisory role, hotel or cruise ship preferred.
• German at Berlitz Level 6 (CEFR B2) for guest interactions and reporting.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills; ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Housekeeper in daily housekeeping operations aboard the cruise ship.
• Supervise housekeeping staff, including room attendants and cleaners; coordinate tasks.
• Monitor cleanliness and hygiene of guest cabins and public areas; inspect standards.
• Train and mentor new staff; maintain inventory and order supplies.
• Handle guest requests promptly; collaborate with other departments for guest experience.
• Assist with scheduling, performance evaluations, and cost control for housekeeping.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations; participate in budgeting.
