Job summary

American Cruise Lines, the largest U.S. cruise company, is hiring Housekeepers for the 2026 season to work onboard our ships as part of the shipboard hotel team. You will deliver hospitality and represent the brand during voyages lasting up to 28 weeks.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean environment, assisting guests, and supporting event service while traveling across multiple itineraries. This introductory role offers travel, room and board, uniforms, and training.

Qualifications

• You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and an American citizen or Green Card holder.
• Pre-employment drug test is required for all shipboard employees.
• Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited and safety training is required.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a clean, safe, attractive environment for guests.
• Prioritize comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas.
• Greet guests by name and handle housekeeping inquiries per service standards.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Organize inventory and stock linen and supplies.
• Clean spills with appropriate equipment and notify management of maintenance needs.
• Collect and dispose of trash.
• Clean upholstered furniture and lounge spaces.
• Assist with greeting guests on embarkation and participate in events as needed.
