Job summary

American Cruise Lines is hiring Housekeepers for the 2026 season to work aboard our ships as part of the shipboard hotel team. This is a temporary, full‑time position for up to 28 weeks, with duties including cleaning staterooms and public areas, assisting guests, and supporting special events.

Pay ranges from $1,000 to $1,400 per week plus bonuses, and major living expenses are covered aboard. Training, uniforms, and travel support are provided to help you save and build experience in

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
• Pre-employment drug test required for all shipboard employees.
• Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited during service.
• Temporary employment up to 28 weeks onboard; grooming standards apply.
• Opportunity to apply for future management positions (not guaranteed).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, attractive guest environment.
• Prioritize cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas.
• Acknowledge guests by name and respond to inquiries per service standards.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors; organize inventory.
• Handle spills; report maintenance needs.
• Collect and dispose of trash; clean upholstered furniture.
• Engage guests and accommodate housekeeping requests efficiently.
• Assist with greeting guests on embarkation and at events when needed.
