Job summary

Hornblower Group's onboard dining role seeks a capable Server who delivers hospitality at sea, greets guests, serves meals, and keeps service stations clean and organized.

You will operate on a Coast Guard-inspected passenger vessel, work evenings and weekends, and engage guests with menu details and entertainment options while upholding RESPECT standards. A high school diploma and 1 year of high-volume dining experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in high-volume restaurant preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must be available for evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in cash handling and point-of-sale systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and serve food and beverages in a timely fashion.
• Accurately take orders and input them into the POS system.
• Maintain clean and safe dining and service areas.
• Provide information on menu descriptions, cruise routes and points of interest.
• Assist with seating guests and managing service flow.
• Handle payments for onboard purchases.
