Job summary

American Cruise Lines, the largest USA flagged cruise line, is seeking a Cruise & Excursions Director to join our shipboard team for the 2026 season. This hybrid role combines onboard guest engagement with shoreside excursion management across destinations.

Responsibilities include scheduling programs, coordinating vendors, presenting briefings, and promoting onboard sales while maintaining safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, tourism, or event management preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Energetic, confident and can-do attitude.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and execute engaging entertainment, enrichment and activity programs.
• Communicate with guests via shipboard programs and PA system.
• Oversee, coordinate and confirm shore excursions and transfers.
• Engage guests ashore with destination experiences and excursions.
• Promote onboard sales and brand loyalty programs.
