Job summary

AdvantEdge Technology, Inc. in Port Hueneme, CA, is seeking a Full-time Associate Field Engineer to support the AEGIS ECWS.

The role requires extensive shipboard travel and duties including performing a chelate flush of the AN/SPY-1 Radar System and operations and maintenance control of the DDGs and CGs in the fleet. The candidate should have a High School diploma with 1-3 years of experience, basic mechanical and electrical skills, ability to read tech manuals and shipboard drawings, and

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 1-3 years of experience.
• Basic knowledge and experience in mechanical and electrical tasking.
• Basic installation experience with ability to read and follow Tech Manual instructions.
• Able to read shipboard technical drawings.
• Able to perform mechanical and electrical requirements.
• Able to use power, hand tools and test equipment.
• Take direction and work as a team member performing routine tasks.
• Conduct material kitting, staging, assembly, packaging, loading, shipping and receiving material.
• Inventory and control piece parts, assemblies, sub-assemblies and tools.
• Support extensive field work assignments.
• Take responsibility for action items and provide status reports.
• Complete required training and obtain an OSHA course prior to travel.
• Wear PPE when entering a shipyard or boarding a ship.
• Receive and maintain a government clearance.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Write, speak and present clear, detailed technical monthly reports.
• Complete timecard daily.

Responsibilities
