Job summary

AdvantEdge Technology, Inc. is seeking a full-time Field Engineer to support AEGIS Electronic Cooling Water Systems (ECWS). The role involves extensive shipboard travel, performing chelate flushes on radar systems, and O&M control for fleet DDGs and CGs.

Strong mechanical/electrical skills and readiness to work in maritime environments are required. Candidates should have a technical degree or substantial field experience, be able to read technical manuals, and be prepared for OSHA training and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field, or 8–10 years of applicable experience without a degree.
• Experience in mechanical and electrical tasking.
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals and diagrams.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% and obtain OSHA training.
• Must maintain PPE and be ready for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipboard field tasks and travel to DDGs and CGs in the fleet.
• Perform chelate flush of AN/SPY-1 Radar System and related operations.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain shipboard systems/equipment.
• Read and follow Tech Manuals and technical diagrams.
• Inventory, kit, stage, assemble, package, load, ship and receive material.
• Complete timecards daily and write detailed monthly reports.
