AdvantEdge Technology, Inc. seeks a Field Engineer (electrician) to support the Self Defense Test Ship (SDTS) aboard the ship at NSWC Port Hueneme, CA. The role demands hands-on electrical work, maintenance, and readiness for underway evolutions.

Requirements include shipboard electrical experience (4–6 years if you have a degree; 8+ years without a degree) and proficiency with power distribution, troubleshooting, and MS Office. Valid driver’s license and background check required.

Formación

• Bachelors Degree with 4–6 years of experience or no degree with 8+ years’ experience.
• Electrician must have 4–6 years shipboard electrical experience.
• Experience with power distribution systems and HVAC electrical systems.
• Able to operate ship electrical power generation, lighting, and appliances.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Self Defense Test Ship (SDTS) as a field engineer on board.
• Maintain and troubleshoot shipboard electrical systems and equipment.
• Perform log readings and stand underway watches as required.
• Work with minimal supervision and complete onboard maintenance tasks.
