American Cruise Lines seeks an Excursions Director to engage guests in destinations through shore excursions, explorations, and adventures. The role oversees all shore excursions, transfers, vendor communications, and brand representation with high guest interaction.

Responsibilities include coordinating logistics, briefing guests, and coordinating inventory. This is a demanding, full-time shipboard position with long hours and extensive time at sea.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality, tourism, or event management preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Enthusiasm, confidence, and a can-do attitude.
• Strong public speaking skills.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Geography preferred.
• TWIC credential required.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Arrange, confirm and adjust shore excursions, explorations, adventures and transfers.
• Be well-versed in cruising region, ports of call and excursions offered.
• Accompany guests on daily excursions as a company representative and brand ambassador.
• Coordinate logistics with vendors, coach companies and ground operators for timely service.
• Accommodate guest requests, including personalized arrangements.
• Inform crew members of daily excursion offerings and promotions.
• Promote on-board sales and brand loyalty program.
