Job summary

CACI International Inc. seeks a Field Technician/Engineer to oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of shipboard networked CCTV systems.

Role involves working in a shipboard environment, coordinating with OEMs and marine engineers, and contributing to design input for future systems. The candidate must have 5+ years as a field engineer on technical programs, experience with ABS/USCG electrical requirements, and IP networking (TCP/IP, UDP, SIP).

Qualifications

Secret clearance required or ability to obtain/maintain
5+ years as field engineer supporting technical programs with relevant systems
Experience with shipboard CCTV systems and ABS/USCG electrical installation requirements
Experience with IP services: TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, PPP, SIP
Knowledge of CAT5/5E, CAT6, fiber cabling and ability to fabricate equipment
Proficiency in Windows and/or Unix operating systems
Experience using Visio and MS Office
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed

Responsibilities

Oversee deployment, installation, and testing of shipboard CCTV systems
Install and oversee installation of servers, switches, monitors, UPS, and PC hardware on ships
Coordinate with OEMs, marine engineers, and industrial partners
Lead junior engineers and ensure timely implementation within tight timeframes
