Job summary

The Tatitlek Corporation is seeking a Field Engineer to lead a team in system development, testing, and installation on US Coast Guard boats and cutters. Responsibilities include supervising electrical/C4I tasks, wiring, testing, and documenting results.

Required are US citizenship with SECRET clearance, Coast Guard/Navy C4I experience, and ability to travel. The role involves hands-on assembly, verification, and support across dispersed sites.

Qualifications

• US citizen with SECRET clearance requirements.
• 8 years’ US Coast Guard/Navy C4I installation experience.
• C4I school with 8 years experience in C4I installation support.
• NavSea cableway or connector certification desired.
• Experience with cable fabrication (multi-pin, RF, network, power, fiber, mil-spec).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 3–10 individuals in system development and installation on Coast Guard vessels.
• Design, develop and test major units and equipment; analyze results and modify as needed.
• Supervise electrical/electronic/C4I installation/removal upgrades.
• Analyze data; prepare layouts, specs, and parts lists.
• Perform system testing to evaluate performance and functionality.
• Read/interpret installation drawings and cable run sheets; fabricate connectors.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions; document findings.
