Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking Advanced Mechanical Assemblers to support a high-profile US Navy project on U.S. Navy ships and installations in Norfolk, VA.

You will fabricate and assemble electromechanical and electronic assemblies from blueprints and diagrams, and ensure equipment remains operational through preventive maintenance. We value a minimum of 5 years’ experience with power tools and shipboard work, ability to obtain DoD secret clearance, OSHA 10, and respirator qualification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with power tools and assemblies.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance and pass background checks.
• OSHA certification and respirator qualification desired.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble electromechanical and electronic components from blueprints or diagrams.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document malfunctions.
• Work on U.S. Naval Ships and military installations with safety awareness.
