Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead operations at our Mid-Atlantic Service Center in North Carolina. You will supervise receiving, storage, order processing and shipping, while ensuring safety, accuracy and efficient movement of goods.

You will drive continuous improvement projects, manage 30–60 associates across departments, and develop operating metrics to support reliable performance in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supervisor roles.
• Minimum of 10 years of distribution and/or manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Proven ability to independently manage and oversee all aspects of a distribution center’s operations with minimal support.
• Demonstrated leadership in supervising 30-60 associates across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety standards and procedures to keep safety as a top priority.
• Lead continuous improvement projects that improve KPI performance.
• Lead problem solving to identify root causes and implement long-term solutions.
• Maintain and improve associate relations through meetings and ongoing communication.
• Perform daily Gemba Walks to identify deviations in standard work.
• Establish weekly training plans to cross-train associates across departments.
• Keep open communication channels and explain policies and procedures.
• Assume additional duties as required.
