Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in Hackensack, NJ is hiring a Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service across the plaza. You will guide team members, uphold brand standards, and manage cash handling and food safety requirements.

The role requires strong communication, leadership experience, and the ability to train new hires. Flexible scheduling including days, nights, weekends, and holidays is a plus for our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures.
• Operate POS system and process payments.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, and temperature checks.
• Complete kitchen tasks including prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain product knowledge of plaza offerings.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety, and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or issues and perform other tasks.
