The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position that prepares employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The role involves performing tasks as directed to gain the skills needed for future supervisory responsibilities, completing basic operations and management training, and learning about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training, trainees are considered for promotion to open supervisor positions. These roles support the store management team in driving store performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and handles opening and closing procedures.
Strong deductive reasoning, analytical, and computer skills. Excellent communication skills. Flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
Anticipated weekly hours: 29
Time type: Part time
Pay range: $16.00/hour (base)
