The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. Trainees perform assigned tasks to develop management skills, learn about key business aspects like building customer loyalty through exceptional service, and understand CVS/pharmacy culture. Upon successful completion, trainees may be considered for promotion to supervisory roles that support store management, drive store performance, and enhance customer service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and manages opening and closing procedures.
Required: Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, advanced communication skills, flexible schedule including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Preferred: Retail experience.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
