Bowery Residents' Committee, Inc. seeks a Shift Supervisor to oversee frontline staff, maintain shelter operations, and ensure policy and safety adherence.

The role entails supervising technicians, coordinating 24/7 operations, and guiding staff through incidents while maintaining accurate records. Ideal candidates have 1+ year supervisory experience, shelter experience, strong computer skills, and current First Aid/Fire Safety and CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain).

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in homeless shelters or similar settings preferred.
• At least 1 year supervisory/lead experience preferred.
• Knowledge of addiction and recovery processes.
• Strong computer literacy and documentation skills.
• First Aid and Fire Safety certifications required (or willingness to obtain).
• CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain).

Responsabilidades

What You’ll Do

• Ensure staff follow all agency policies, procedures, and documentation standards
• Review and maintain accurate records, reports, and clinical notes
• Respond to incidents and provide guidance to staff as needed
• Participate in weekly program and leadership meetings
• Provide emergency First Aid/CPR assistance when required
• Perform related duties as assigned

Schedule

• Full-time,37.5 hours per week
• Programs operate 24/7; various morning, evening, and overnight schedules available

Who We’re Looking For
